Owned by Lapo ELkann, the Garage Italia Customs has decided to showcase its latest work dubbed La Furiosa during the Dubai International Motor Show taking place these days.
The starting point in pretty obvious – the sporty Alfa Romeo 4C – and now comes with a bespoke exterior using a gradient styling starting from the black carbon fiber roof and seamlessly fading into an opaque opalescent Accursio red. The event viewers will also have a chance to glance the “Velvet Touch” features, classic Alfa Romeo alloys finished in opaque gold or the candy red painted carbon fiber trim.
We can also highlight the white Alfa Romeo lettering found on the color-keyed brake calipers. The cabin comes nicely fitted with red Alcantara upholstery that also covers the dashboard, center console and door panels.
The lucky driver and passenger will also have black perforated Alcantara seat inserts, a double-color steering wheel and bespoke floor mats. The special Alcantara upholstery has been specifically designed and manufactured using a digital printing process and has been extensively used throughout the cabin – even wrapping the A- pillars.
Garage Italia Customs remained mum on the subject of technical enhancements – so as far as we know the stock 1.75-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 240 PS (176 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque has remained untouched. That means the custom designed vehicle might retain the performance figures of the regular 4C: acceleration form a standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) takes just 4.5 seconds for the lightweight sports car that will top out at 258 km/h (160 mph).
